Requirements for Password
You may not use a password that you have previously used.

- Confirm New Password
Has minimum strength level of "Strong"- "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" must match
- Cannot be the same as the "Current Password"
- Cannot contain apostrophe (') or pipe (|)
- Cannot contain your Unity ID
- Cannot start or end with a space
- Cannot be more than 100 characters
Guidelines for Password
- Never share your password with others
- Avoid using your NC State password on other sites or with personal accounts
- Longer passphrases or sentences are stronger and more secure
- Avoid making simple changes to previous passwords
